CoStar reported $3.6 billion in sales in 2019, crowning it the first multifamily market to cross the $3 billion threshold. It holds one of the most diverse, fastest-growing job markets, and has steady population growth. We love linear markets! The cost of living is fantastic for the resources and experiences available to its citizens.

Every market has its highs and lows, right? Well, we chose Tampa as our primary market because it makes the most sense for investors and residents alike! Its real estate market has remained afloat throughout the 2008 recession and the COVID19 pandemic while countless other markets crumbled. Why? Because the bulk of its economy is locally funded. Even as national buying habits change, Tampa’s economic structure and charming lifestyle attract diverse, unceasing job and population growth.

Is Multifamily Sustainable?

Absolutely! Baby boomers and millennials are not finding homeownership conducive to their lifestyle choices. In addition to battling the weight of increased student debt, they are valuing the flexibility of renting rather than the commitment of owning. Apartments are the most efficient way to meet their needs in a timely manner. Nationally, we are estimated to need a minimum of 4.6 MILLION apartments by 2030 to accommodate the demand for rental properties.
